The Firm advises on all legal matters involving the establishment, operation and winding-up of companies, trusts, associations and non-profit entities. On a regular basis, the firms is called upon to handle mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, incorporations, capital increases and capital reductions, share purchase agreements, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, and filing and maintenance of government permits and licenses.<\/p>\n

Through correspondent firms abroad, Bergstein provides offshore and fiduciary services, working with trusts, private foundations and other offshore vehicles in multiple jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

  • Advice to a multinational company in the negotiation and execution of an EPC contract for the construction of a pulp mill, in which later became the largest private investment in Uruguay until today.<\/li>\n
  • Advice to the third largest German energy company in the establishment of its operations in Uruguay jointly with a group of local investors for the development of wind farms in Uruguay.<\/span>
