The firm assists national and foreign banking institutions in the review of all types of banking contracts, provides consultancy services to foreign financial institutions in the planning and implementation of regional transactions, and advises in all matters regarding the Uruguayan Central Bank regulations and stock market rules.

Some of the matters in which The Firm has participated include:

• Advise to a European syndicate of banks in the financing of an infrastructure facility in the field of gold mining in Uruguay.
• Legal representation of a foreign bank in the refinancing of a mining project through the creation of a system of securities on the assets of the project.
• Legal support to international banks for the setting up of a representation office in the country.
• Ongoing advice to foreign financial institutions, investment advisors, securities brokers, investment funds and in general all kinds of international financial market institutions that envisage to offer financial products in Uruguay (private banking and private placement).
